I was able to use this device to hook up an exterenal monitor to the all-in-one PC, and use the external monitor to use the computer. She had an extra LCD monitor, but there were no external monitor ports on the HP. The friend works from home and could not earn income without this computer, but did not have a lot of money to fix it. Replacement panels were virtually impossible to find and very expensive. Her kids knocked over her new HP All-in-One computer and damaged the screen beyond repair. Overall Review: I bought this to fix my wife's co-worker's computer.
